Active Adventurers camp (ages 8-9)

This two-day camp will allow students to participate in outdoor activities and build skills they can use throughout their lives. Try out camping skills; learn how to identify birds; play disc golf and much more.

Registration fees are $50 for Conservation Foundation of Dickinson County members or $60 for non-members and include a free T-shirt and snack each day. Please bring a sack lunch.

Nature’s Fortress camp (ages 4-5)

In this two-day camp, kids ages 4-5 will learn about different habitat types and the animals that live in them through active play and adventure. Plus, they will be introduced to some of the live animal ambassadors that live at the Dickinson County Nature Center.

Registration fees are $40 for Conservation Foundation of Dickinson County members or $50 for non-members and include a free T-shirt and a snack each day.

Kayaking Adventures camp (ages 10-14)

Youth ages 10-14 will learn the basics of kayaking from a certified instructor. Master entering and exiting a kayak, paddling forward, stopping and turning. Also, go over key safety information.

Kayaks and personal flotation devices will be provided. If you would like to use your own kayak or PFD, you may, but please alert the Dickinson County Nature Center staff as to those arrangements. The daily location of this camp will be sent out via e-mail to listed parents/guardians prior to each day’s session, as weather and wind conditions will be taken into consideration for the location.

There will be two sessions of this camp:

9-11 a.m. June 19-20

9-11 a.m. June 26-27
