Spider with Web Craft
As Halloween is coming up, I was looking for a fun craft that could also be a decoration. On Pinterest, I found a Spider with a Web craft and it just so happens to go with meeting Pinki our Tarantula on social media this week.
You will need:
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- Tape
- Paper Plate
- Yarn
- Paper
- Googly Eyes
- Pipe Cleaners
Step 1:
I colored the paper plate with a marker but you could use paint or whatever you would like. Then, cut out the middle of the paper plate.
Step 2:
Take the hole punch to punch holes out of the middle of the plate. The yarn will go through these holes which means the more holes, the more yarn will be used.
Step 3:
Next, string the yarn through the holes in whatever pattern you would like. To start, tape one end of the yarn to the back of the plate.
Step 4:
Once you have finished stringing the yarn, tape the other end to the back of the plate.
Step 5:
Cut a circle out of whatever colored paper you want to make your spider body.
Step 6:
Put your legs on. You can tape them on or you can glue them on. Then bend and cut to desired length and look.
Step 7:
Stick the eyes on and give your spider a smile if you want. Then put your spider on the web. Your spider can be glued or it can just hang onto the web with its legs.
Then you can put a hole in the top, run some yarn through and you can hang it up anywhere you want.
