The Dickinson County Conservation Board welcomes community relations coordinator Kiley Roth.
Roth will act as volunteer coordinator, office manager and will assist in environmental education.
“I’m joining the conservation board at an exciting time as exhibits, programming and offerings are expanding at the nature center,” Roth said. “I am looking forward to working with volunteers, board members and guests.”
Roth graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City and has spent the past five years working as a journalist. She moved to the Iowa Great Lakes area in 2010 and likes to spend time outdoors enjoying everything the area has to offer.
Because of the importance of the environment in the Iowa Great Lakes area, Roth encourages everyone to get involved in some way. The Dickinson County Nature Center has myriads of volunteer opportunities for those of all ages. Help in the office, assist with programming and events, do maintenance work inside and outside, work in the Westport Schoolhouse, donate money or goods. Just call 712-336-6352 for more information on how to get involved.
“I would love to meet you and help you figure out a way you can use your interests and passions to assist the Dickinson County Conservation Board,” Roth said.
Roth can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 712-339-1153.
